OUR STORY
How Feline Good
began.
We do not have a shelter building.
Our cats live in foster homes, where they receive personal care while we learn the personalities and needs that will help us find the right permanent homes.
After nearly two decades of hands-on experience fostering cats and working in rescue, Jen Weaver founded Feline Good in 2023. She wanted to build an organization where thoughtful decisions, responsible placements, and the individual needs of each cat would always come first.
The founding Board of Directors supported the building of the new rescue bringing together years and years of experience in cat rescue.
Feline Good has grown through a network of foster families, volunteers, adopters, donors, veterinary partners, and community supporters.

WHY WE ADOPT KITTENS IN PAIRS
Growing up is better
with a buddy.
Kittens under one year old are adopted with another kitten or join a home that already has an active cat. A feline companion gives kittens an appropriate outlet for their energy while helping them develop healthy social and behavioral skills.
Many of our kittens grow up together and form close bonds. Keeping those pairs together supports their confidence, comfort, and lifelong well-being.

Jen Weaver
FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Jen Weaver founded Feline Good in 2023 in response to the growing number of cats and kittens in need of safe, responsible rescue. She has fostered cats since 2007, giving her years of hands-on experience caring for cats with different personalities, backgrounds, and medical needs.
Jen holds an MBA and brings more than 25 years of professional experience in sales and marketing to the rescue. She uses that background to build community partnerships, strengthen the organization, and connect more cats with the people who can help them.
